During my life I started, from the age of 16th, to travel abroad: most, alone; and to bring me to the desire of travelling was my curiosity

1963 - When 16 yo I went in France, Bouches du Rhone………..

1966 – My first journey in Florence, to work for the reconstruction after the big flood of the first days of November: during my life I went there many times, but I never will forget me, walking with big high boots in San Lorenzo and inside the Michelangelo Sacrestia Nuova.  I was also travelling in Tuscany many times…….and  even for my work as architecture historian and as architect.

1967 – In fact I started to have more important journeys when I have had the opportunity to go in Canada with a flight I won with the magazine “L’Europeo”.

          It was my first flight and was an intercontinental flight: from Rome to Montreal in Quebec …. Then I visited Toronto and the Niagara Falls: this trip was really a shock for me: the other world….

- Autumn: My first journey in Venice: coming from Udine, and the border with Yugoslavia (at that time the situation was still under the problem of the “comunist” side and us, the Italy of NATO) I remember, with the masterpiece I was looking for the first time,….some young wonderful people.....

1968 – summer: England…. London, Coventry...

1969 - And the following summer in southern France again 

1971 – spring: France (Paris)

1973 – Autumn: Ethiopia (stopping in Jedda for the flight)

1974 - The Greece: in August and at the end of September ….

1975 –

1976 – A long trip without flying, to Persia: from Venice to Istambul, then throughout Anatolia, to Teheran….. back from Ankara and throughout Izmir  to Venice
